FBI Opts Out of Investigating the Shooting of Christian Taylor

Visuals won't always win over in investigations. It looks like the surveillance footage from the shooting of unarmed college athlete Christian Taylor won't be taken in by the FBI for further reviewing.
After the video footage was released displaying Taylor crashing his vehicle into a dealership, jumping on a vehicle, and roaming the car lot before he was shot, it was reported via the Grio that the FBI would not be doing any further investigating after police asked them to take part in the examination.
FBI Dallas Spokeswoman Allison Mahan said the Bureau "has full confidence in the ability" of the Arlington Police & prosecutors in investigating the death of Christian Taylor.
Family members of Taylor have made statements saying how the situation was just as shocking as it was to everyone else that he partook in those activities.
"His relationship with God had escalated to the point where he'd talk about it so much, you'd think he was a preacher," said Taylor's father.
"It's kind of hard to I guess justify or clarify but at the end of the day I know my brother. I know he wouldn't attack any officer or anybody in authority at all, or attack anybody for that matter," said Joshua Taylor, brother of Christian.
Taylor's mother said that the police have yet to state what happened directly proceeding the shooting of her son.
