Benzino Will Serve 700 Hrs of Community Service For Gun Incident

In late January, Raymond Scott - a.k.a. Benzino - was arrested by Atlanta, Georgia police after he attempted to get a loaded gun pass the TSA checkpoint at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The media exec posted a message for his fans soon after he was released, claiming that it was "an honest mistake" while including the fact that he has the legal right to carry firearms.
Benzino pleaded no contest in court, informing the judge that he simply carried the wrong laptop bag with him that day. On top of making him serve 700 hours of community service, the judge has ordered Benzino to take a mandatory course on gun safety within the next 60 days, and pay a $500 fine. He's also been placed on probation for one year.
